Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of camdentreelopping.com.au and to any enquiry you submit through it. Using the website means you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Last updated: August 2026.
1. What this website is
Camden Tree Lopping is a referral website. Its job is to take enquiries from people in the Camden area who need tree work and put them in front of independent local tree contractors who can quote and do it.
We are not the business that climbs your tree. The contractor who attends your property is a separate, independent operator, and the agreement to do the work is between you and them. The Disclaimer sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.
2. Enquiries and quotes
Submitting the enquiry form or ringing (02) 4602 1480 is a request for a quote. It is not a booking, and it does not create a contract with anyone.
Any price, timeframe or scope discussed before a contractor has physically inspected the tree is an estimate only. Trees are assessed on site — access, lean, proximity to buildings and power, soil condition and what is actually wrong with the tree all change the job. The binding quote is the written one the contractor gives you, on their terms, after they have looked at it.
We cannot guarantee that a contractor will be available for every enquiry, in every suburb, at every time of year. Storm periods in particular get busy.
3. Your responsibilities
When you enquire, you agree that:
- the information you give us is accurate, including the property address and your contact details;
- you either own the property or have the owner's permission to arrange tree work on it;
- you will deal directly with the contractor on scope, price, timing, payment, insurance and any warranty; and
- you will not use this website for anything unlawful, abusive, or designed to interfere with how it runs.
4. Council approvals are your responsibility
Most trees in the Camden local government area are protected, and pruning or removing them usually requires approval from Camden Council before work starts. We and the contractors we refer you to can explain how the process generally works and help with the paperwork, but the legal obligation to hold a valid approval sits with the property owner.
Nothing on this website is an approval, a permit, or advice that you do not need one. Confirm your situation with Camden Council before any work is booked.
5. Information on this site is general only
Everything published here about tree species, soil, storm risk, local conditions and council rules is general information, written to help you understand what you are dealing with. It is not arboricultural, engineering or legal advice, it is not tailored to your tree, and rules change. Get a qualified arborist to inspect anything you are worried about, and confirm current requirements with Council.
We try to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free.
6. Availability of the website
We aim to keep the site online and working, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. It may be unavailable for maintenance, host outages or other reasons outside our control, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.
7. Content and intellectual property
The text, layout, images and design on this website are ours or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to read, print or share pages for your own personal use. Republishing our content commercially, or scraping it to build a competing site, is not permitted without written consent.
Where we link out to Camden Council, the NSW Planning Portal or other external sites, those sites are not ours and we are not responsible for their content or accuracy.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, cost, injury or expense arising from:
- your use of, or inability to use, this website;
- reliance on general information published here;
- the acts, omissions, workmanship, pricing, conduct or advice of any independent contractor you are referred to; or
- any dispute between you and a contractor.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Where liability can be limited rather than excluded, ours is limited to resupplying the referral service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies, so it is worth a look if it has been a while.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
11. Contact
We are a service-area business without a public shopfront, so the phone is the contact point.
