camdentreelopping.com.au is a referral website. What we do is take your enquiry and put it in front of independent tree contractors working in the Camden area. What we do not do is turn up and cut the tree.
We would rather say that up front than bury it, because it changes who you are actually dealing with.

Who does the work
The person who arrives at your property, quotes the job, climbs the tree and sends you an invoice is an independent third-party tree contractor. They run their own business. They are not employed by, owned by, controlled by, or in partnership with the operator of this website, and we do not direct how they work.
Once you are connected, everything that matters is between you and them:
- the inspection and the quote;
- the scope of work and when it happens;
- the price, the payment and any warranty;
- their licensing, qualifications and insurance;
- and any problem, delay or dispute that comes up afterwards.
The operator of this website is not a party to that agreement.
What "we" means on the rest of this site
Across the other pages we write in the first person — "we can help with", "the crews we work with", "call us for a quote". That is ordinary plain-English phrasing, not a claim that the website operator performs tree work. Read it as "we will connect you with a local contractor who does this", because that is what it means every time.
Anything worded as a service description — lopping, pruning, removal, stump grinding, hedge trimming, palm work, storm clean-up, green waste and mulching — describes work performed by independent contractors, not by us.
We do not vet or vouch for contractors
We try to refer enquiries to capable local operators, but we want to be honest about the limits of that.
We do not verify, endorse, certify or guarantee any contractor's qualifications, licences, insurance cover, workmanship, safety practices, pricing or availability. We make no representation that any particular contractor is suitable for your job.
Before you let anyone start, satisfy yourself directly. Ask to see their public liability insurance certificate. Ask about qualifications for the work in question. Get the quote in writing, with the scope spelled out and the clean-up included or excluded in black and white. Any decent operator expects those questions and will not be offended by them.
Tree information on this site is general only
The material we publish about local tree species, Camden's clay soils, storm behaviour, and Camden Council's tree rules is general information written for the district, not advice about your particular tree.
Council controls, thresholds, exempt species lists and application processes change over time, and the way they apply depends on the specific tree, its size, its species and where it sits on the block. Do not treat anything here as an approval or as confirmation that you do not need one. Confirm your situation with Camden Council, and get a qualified arborist to inspect anything you are genuinely worried about. If a page on this site and Camden Council disagree, Council is right.

- any council penalty, enforcement action or approval issue relating to tree work at your property.
Nothing here excludes any right or guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Fees and referral arrangements
The operator of this website may receive a fee or other commercial benefit from contractors in connection with enquiries referred to them. This does not add anything to the price you are quoted, and it does not oblige you to accept a quote or to use any contractor you are introduced to. You are free to get other quotes, and you should.
